Abstract

This case study is motivated by the increasing incidence of stroke in Indonesia, Al Ihsan General Hospital, cases of stroke in 2018 reached 658 patients. The aim of physical mobilization is to improve neurological function through physical therapy such as joint range of motion exercises and physical mobilization in bed. Methods of data collection through observation, interviews, physical examination and documentation carried out for 6 days. The results of the case study showed that there was an increase in the range of motion of the left upper and lower extremity joints 0 scale to 1 clace 5, for the and patient's level of mobilization there was no change 1st day to 6th day based on the Barthel index measuring instrument which was at a score of 15 (total dependency). after nursing care, especially mobilization and ROM interventions for 6 consecutive days with a frequency of 2 times a day. It is recommended to hospital nurses, as well as patient families to be able to carry out direct application to patients who experience impaired physical mobility due to stroke, especially in implementing nonpharmacological therapy according to procedures.
