Abstract

Heart disease data in West Java Province is above the national average in 2018 with a prevalence of 1.6% or an estimated 186,809 people. Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, the arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle. The purpose of this case study is to provide nursing care to Mr. D with impaired activity requirements due to coronary artery disease at Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province. The method used in this case study is a nursing process approach consisting of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The subject in this case study was one patient with a diagnosis of CAD. The results of the study found that the patient complained of pain, tightness and a feeling of weakness in the body. One of the diagnoses found was Activity Intolerance. The nursing plan refers to the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI), nursing action plans can be implemented in nursing implementation. Nursing evaluation of nursing diagnoses found to be partially resolved. Based on the case studies that have been carried out, it can be concluded that by providing several actions related to activity needs such as advising bed rest, helping all patient activities can be partially resolved. As for recommendations, the authors hope that related parties within the scope of the hospital, especially nurses, will pay more attention to the condition of coronary heart patients in their daily activities. And for patients, so that they don't do activities that are too strenuous and require too much energy.
