Abstract

ABSTRACT Xvi, 80 p., 5 Chapters, 8 tables, 1 figure, 1 chart, 10 attachments. This case study is motivated by the incidence of hypertension in Indonesia. According to Basic Health Research data in 2013, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia obtained through measurement at the age of ≥18 years (25.8%) while in 2018 (34.11%), there was an increase of around (8.31%). In West Java Province, the prevalence of hypertension obtained through measurement at the age of ≥18 years in 2013 (29.4%) while in 2018 (39.60%), there was an increase of around (10.2%). The total number of elderly people in West Java in 2020 (43.03%). This case study aims to determine the description of nursing care for Mrs. U with disturbed sleep patterns due to hypertension at Wisma Lansia J. Soenarti Nasution Bandung City. This case study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Handling is carried out in accordance with the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards or Standar Intervensi Keperawatan Indonesia (SDKI), one of which is reflexology. After reflexology is done, the client says he sleeps well, and is more comfortable, and his sleeping hours are starting to become regular. Recommendations for Wisma Lansia J. Soenarti Nasution Bandung City, it is hoped that the management will be able to provide nursing actions in the form of reflexology to hypertensive clients with sleep pattern disorders that have been given during the author's case study.
