Abstract

PENERAPAN TINDAKAN PERAWATAN METODE KANGGURU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SUHU TUBUH PADA BBLR DENGAN MASALAH HIPOTERMIA DI RSUD AL IHSAN ABSTRAK Studi kasus ini dilatarbelakangi oleh angka kejadian BBLR di RSUD Al-Ihsan sebanyak 147 kasus. Penatalaksanaan BBLR yaitu diberikan perawatan dalam inkubator, namun mengingat mahalnya harga perawatan dalam inkubator, sehingga ada cara lain yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan suhu tubuh bayi yaitu dengan tindakan Perawatan Metode Kangguru (PMK). Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dari Penerapan Tindakan Perawatan Metode Kangguru untuk Meningkatkan Suhu Tubuh pada BBLR dengan Masalah Hipotermia di RSUD Al-Ihsan. Desain studi kasus yang digunakan adalah studi kasus deskriptif. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan suhu tubuh setelah diberikan tindakan PMK pada klien 1 dan klien 2, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tindakan PMK efektif untuk meningkatkan suhu tubuh pada BBLR. Rekomendasi bagi perawat untuk menerapkan tindakan PMK sesuai dengan SOP agar hasil peningkatan suhu tubuh lebih efektif. Kata Kunci : Tindakan Perawatan Metode Kangguru, Hipotermia, BBLR ABSTRACT This case study was motivated by the incidence of LBW in Al-Ihsan Hospital as many as 147 cases. The management of LBW is given treatment in an incubator, but considering the high price of treatment in an incubator, so there are other ways that can be used to increase the baby's body temperature, namely the Kangaroo Method Care (KMC). The purpose of this case study is to find out the description of the application of the Kangaroo Method of Care to Increase Body Temperature in LBW with Hypothermia Problems at Al-Ihsan Hospital. The case study design used is a descriptive case study. The results of the case study show that there is an increase in body temperature after being given KMC action on client 1 and client 2, so it can be concluded that KMC action is effective in increasing body temperature in LBW. Recommendations for nurses to apply KMC actions in accordance with SOPs so that the results of increasing body temperature are more effective. Keywords: Kangaroo Method Care, Hypothermia, LBW
