Abstract
ABSTRACT In an effort to reduce maternal mortality rate (MMR) , Antenatal care (ANC) or pregnancy checks must be carried out by every pregnant woman. Covid-19 phenomenon cannot be used as an obstacle for not doing ANC. The government has make new regulations and directives regarding the implementation of ANC to ensure controlled maternal and infant health so that maternal and infant health remains prosperous. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about antenatal care during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive with a literature review design. Using secondary data sources with a sample of 5 journals. The results of the study The description of pregnant women's knowledge of ANC during the Covid-19 period was good knowledge, Journal 1 had good knowledge (82.2%), journal 2 knowledge was good (50.7%), Journal 3 knowledge was sufficient (97%), Journal 4 sufficient knowledge (48%), and journal 5 knowledge is not good (71.7%). The description of the attitudes of pregnant women towards ANC during the Covid-19 period is likely to be positive, Journal 1 of positive mother's attitude (62.2%), Journal 3 of sufficient mother's attitude (77%), Journal of 4 positive mother's attitude (84%), and Journal 5 negative mother attitude (66.7%). Recommendations from this study are expected to improve education or promotive and preventive services related to ANC services during the Covid-19 period and it is also necessary to improve the quality of optimal service delivery so as to increase the interest of pregnant women in checking their pregnancies to health care facilities.
