Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tuberkulosis paru merupakan penyakit infeksi kronis yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis dan memicu reaksi inflamasi di jaringan paru. Pemeriksaan C-Reactive Protein (CRP) dan Basil Tahan Asam (BTA) penting dilakukan untuk menilai tingkat aktivitas infeksi dan respons terhadap terapi pada pasien tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kadar CRP dan hasil pemeriksaan BTA sebelum dan setelah dua bulan pengobatan pada pasien tuberkulosis paru, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar CRP dan hasil BTA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment (eksperimen semu), yaitu penelitian dengan menganalisis perbandingan hasil kadar CRP pada pasien tuberkulosis paru dengan BTA positif, sebelum dan setelah pengobatan 2 bulan. Sebanyak 32 pasien dibagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu sebelum dan sesudah dua bulan menjalani terapi anti-TB. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U menunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05. Nilai U = 0,000 dan Z = -4,843 ) menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kadar CRP pada kelompok sebelum dan setelah 2 bulan pengobatan. Uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai sebesar 32.000 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 3 dan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik antara masa pengobatan dan hasil BTA. Uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara kadar CRP dan hasil BTA (r = 0,938; p = 0,000). Pengobatan selama dua bulan efektif menurunkan kadar CRP dan hasil BTA. Terdapat perbedaan kadar CRP dan BTA yang signifikan antara pasien tuberkulosis sebelum dan setelah pengobatan 2 bulan. Hubungan yang kuat antara kadar CRP dan hasil BTA menunjukkan bahwa CRP dapat digunakan sebagai penanda tambahan untuk memantau respons terapi tuberkulosis paru.

ABSTRACT
Pulmonary tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which triggers an inflammatory response in lung tissue. The examination of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) and Acid-Fast Bacilli (AFB) is essential to assess the level of infection activity and therapeutic response in tuberculosis patients. This study aims to analyze CRP levels and AFB results before and after two months of treatment in pulmonary tuberculosis patients, as well as to determine the correlation between CRP levels and AFB results. This study employed a quasi-experimental design, comparing CRP levels in smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis patients before and after two months of anti-tuberculosis therapy. A total of 32 patients were divided into two groups: before and after two months of treatment. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test, which showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), with U = 0.000 and Z = -4.843, indicating a statistically significant difference in CRP levels between the two groups. The Chi-Square test yielded a value of 32.000 with 3 degrees of freedom and a significance level (p) of 0.000 (p < 0.05), demonstrating a statistically significant relationship between treatment duration and AFB results. Correlation analysis revealed a very strong and significant relationship between CRP levels and AFB results (r = 0.938; p = 0.000). Two months of treatment effectively reduced both CRP levels and AFB results. There was a significant difference in CRP levels and AFB results before and after two months of treatment in tuberculosis patients. The strong correlation between CRP levels and AFB results suggests that CRP can be used as an additional marker for monitoring therapeutic response in pulmonary tuberculosis.
