This case study is motivated by the increasing incidence of hypertension. In 2018, the prevalence rate of hypertension in the population in Indonesia was 63,309,620 million people (34.1%), this prevalence rate was higher compared to 2013, namely 25.8%. In the city of Bandung, there were 706,051 people with hypertension and in the Garuda Health Center in Bandung City, there were 2,358 people with hypertension recorded from 2023 to April 2024. This case study aims to describe the nursing care of Mr S's family with hypertension in RW 06, Campaka Village, Garuda Health Center Working Area, Bandung City. In this case study, nursing problems were found, namely ineffective family nursing health management and readiness to increase family coping. Nursing actions are carried out by supporting the family in making decisions, educating about the disease process and involving the family in hypertension care. The method used in the preparation of this case study is descriptive through a nursing care approach. The results of this case study show that there was an increase in the level of family independence from level II independence to level III independence and there was a decrease in blood pressure from 160/90 mmHg to 140/80 mmHg after family nursing care was provided for 5 consecutive days. It is recommended that nurses at puskesmas can continue coaching on the treatment and prevention of hypertension to family members who have a history of hypertension.
