Abstract

Diarrhea is a common health problem. Diarrhea is a condition where a person has bowel movements more than 3 times a day, with a different color and consistency than usual, such as watery, loose liquid accompanied by blood. This Scientific Writing aims to perform Nursing Care on An. H with Diarrhea at Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province. The method used in this case is descriptive by explaining nursing care for An. H with diarrhea using a nursing care approach. Nursing care was carried out for 3x24 hours in patients with the results of the 4th diagnosis has not been resolved and continued with 2x24 hours with the results of all problems resolved, real cases found in patients include the results of studies with a frequency of defecation ±10x/day, watery consistency, thirsty patient, priority nursing diagnosis is diarrhea, planned intervention focus on fulfilling fluid needs, implementation of intravenous fluids, and evaluation on day 5 fluid needs are resolved. This conclusion is that from the 4 diagnoses in this patient, all problems were resolved on day 5. The recommendation for service institutions is that it is hoped that the results of writing this KTI can provide or serve as a reference in nursing care for children with diarrhea.
