Abstract

Labor is the most important phase in the pregnancy process. Delivery can occur normally or with assistance, one type of delivery with assistance is through sectio caesarea. WHO data in 2011 showed 46.1% of deliveries were performed by sectio caesarea. Based on RISKESDAS data in 2018, the number of deliveries by sectio caesarea in Indonesia was 17.6%. In West Java, the prevalence ranked 16th at 14.2%. The sectio caesarea surgical process causes incision wounds that cause pain so that mothers tend to be afraid to move and cause stiff joints if they do not mobilize early. Lack of information about early mobilization has an impact on the mother's attitude in performing early mobilization post cesarean section. The study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the mother's attitude in early mobilization post cesarean section in the Postpartum Room of Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province 2023. Researchers used a cross sectional research design. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. The number of samples obtained was 58 people. The results showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the mother's attitude in early mobilization post sectio caesarea with a p-value of 0.002 <0.05 so that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the mother's attitude in early mobilization post sectio caesarea in the Postpartum Room of Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province 2023.
