Abstract

The number of MMR is increasing every year, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, so one of the main agendas of the SDGs is to reduce MMR. One of the efforts made to accelerate the reduction of MMR is through improving the quality of health services for pregnant women, such as compliance with visits Antenatal Care (ANC). ANC is the care provided by skilled healthcare professionals to pregnant women to ensure the best possible health conditions for both mother and baby during pregnancy. The main factor influencing pregnant women to carry out ANC is the knowledge factor. Knowledge is the result of human sensing, or the result of knowing someone about an object through their senses. The aim of the study was to determine the correlation between third trimester pregnant women's knowledge about Antenatal Care with the frequency of visits at the Garuda Health Center in Bandung 2023. Researchers used a research design cross sectional. Sampling using technique total sampling. The number of samples is 44 respondents. The measuring tools used were a questionnaire to measure knowledge and the MCH book to see the frequency of ANC visits. Data analysis using the method Chi Square. The results of the study found that there was a correlation between the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about Antenatal Care with the frequency of visits with p-value of 0.004. There is a need to increase and maintain counseling about ANC and further research regarding other factors that influence ANC visits.
