Abstract
Appendicitis in Indonesia in 2018 ranked 4th most after dyspepsia, gastritis and duodenitis with the number of hospitalized patients of 28.040 and is constantly increasing every year. The number of cases of appendicitis in RSUD Al-Ihsan in 2020 amounted to 188 patients and increased by 282. Apendicitis is defined as inflammation of the vermiformis appendix (worms) caused by inflammations. Implementation in patients with appendicitis the main is appendictomy which is the treatment through the procedure of surgical action and causes the presence of incision wounds so that the integrity of the skin is damaged. Damage to the integrity of the skin can be overcome by performing aseptic wound treatment. This case study aims to find out the picture of nursing care in patients with post-operative apendicectomy with disturbance of sense of security: Integrity damage in RSUD Al-Ihsan Province of Western Java. The case study method used is using descriptive design with case studies, the subject of this research is a client post surgery appendicotomy, the collection of data using the form of surgical nursing medical care, as well as the presentation of data is done by coordinating the answers obtained from the patient. Results after performing Nursing action for five days, disruption of the need for a sense of safety: damage to the integrity of the skin in the patient can be addressed. In conclusion, in post-operative patients Apendicectomy for damage to the integrity of the skin is partially overcome because seen from the wound healing process on the 5th day is in the phase of peliforation so that there is no connection to the tissue. Patients are expected to continue wound treatment with aseptic techniques during the wound healing process to avoid the occurrence of persistent infection and help wound recovery process.
