Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of vaginal discharge in many adolescents found because of ignorance about the handling of vaginal discharge itself. Lack of knowledge due to lack of information they get from health workers and also dirty environment that can cause vaginal discharge becomes an infection. This problem often occurs in one high school in Majalaya subdistrict, one of which is Pasundan High School. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents about vaginal discharge in high school students Pasundan Majalaya District 2020. The research method used is descriptive method by conducting content testing, data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed through Google forms and cluster sampling techniques. The results showed that the characteristics of teenage female students of Pasundan High School, Majalaya Subdistrict, only 10 (9.3%) had good knowledge of vaginal discharge, most 68 people (63.6%) had enough knowledge that none of the respondents had less knowledge. It is recommended for schools to make a schedule of counseling counseling activities for students regularly related to adolescent reproductive health, especially increasing student knowledge by providing information about vaginal discharge prevention, for other researchers can be used as reference material to continue research related to vaginal discharge in preventing reproductive diseases in a teenager.
