Abstract

Family Empowerment Model based on Silih Asah, Silih Asih dan Silih Asuh (MPK Sila Tilu) is a model of application in nursing interventions in an effort to empower families, including families with HIV/AIDS. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Sila Tilu MPK in improving medication adherence and empowering PLWHA families. The research method used quasi-experimental with a sample of 30 people living with HIV. The Sila Tilu MPK model intervention was carried out for one month by giving the Sila Tilu MPK module, home visits and mentoring carried out by cadres/facilitators who had been given training, home visits were carried out 4 times, then measurements were made on medication adherence and willingness to apply MPK Please Tilu. Results. The average adherence to taking medication before being given the Sila Tilu MPK intervention was 5.93 (SD 1.74) and after being given the Sila Tilu MPK intervention was 6.57 (SD 1.50) the results of the p-statistical test value 0.004. The family's willingness to implement the Sila Tilu MPK was obtained. The median value of the willingness beforegivingthe Sila Tilu MPK model was presented was 11, while was presented was 12, the results of the statistical test p-value 0.004. There is a significant difference between before and after the intervention of MPK Sila Tilu. Conclusion. MPK Sila Tilu has an effect on increasing medication adherence and family empowerment. Recommendation: The Sila Tilu MPK can be used to increase family empowerment inhealth care.Keywords: MPK Sila Tilu, PLWHA, OHIDHA.
