Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in curriculum changes, one of which is the implementation of the Emergency Curriculum as a replacement for the Thirteenth Curriculum (Kurtilas). The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the curriculum during the pandemic and the learning achievements of the students of SD Pameungpeuk, West Bandung Regency. This research method is descriptive qualitative, namely obtaining an overview of the implementation of the emergency curriculum at Pameungpeuk Elementary School, West Bandung Regency. The subjects in this study were school principals, teachers, students who studied using the Emergency Curriculum and parents of students. Data collection methods are through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysts describe in depth the aspects of implementing the use of the emergency curriculum at SD Pameungpeuk Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. The results of the study are that online learning at SD Pameungpeuk Cisarua, West Bandung Regency, uses the JARONAH, JARUNGJUNG, JARNASI and JALURAH methods to minimize obstacles in implementing online learning. The conclusion obtained is that the use of the emergency curriculum using online learning methods has had an unfavorable impact on the implementation of the next curriculum, namely Kurtilas which has had a very bad impact, especially in the attitudes and behavior of students who have experienced a drastic decline. To optimize learning in the post-pandemic period, it is recommended to use a model design (Discovery/Inquiry Learning) with a humanistic approach.
