Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) can be the foundation of healthy behavior for students, teachers and the community in the school environment. Efforts to empower students, teachers, and the school community to play an active role in realizing healthy schools through PHBS are one of the right strategies to improve community health status.The use of various methods and various health promotion media is believed to be able to help increase students' knowledge of PHBS at school, one of which is the snake and ladder game which is modified with the addition of PHBS cards. This health promotion media is expected to have a significant influence in improving clean and healthy living behavior through knowledge, attitudes and actions. The purpose of this studywas to determine the difference in the scores of knowledge before and after students playing the modified snake and ladder game. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design on 21 students ofelementary student. This study used a questionnaire measuring instrument and an observation sheet. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with paired sample t-test at 0.05.The results of data analysis show that the use of health promotion media "Modified Snakes and Ladders" couldsignificantly increase knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in elementary student.
