P17320119023 ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA KLIEN ASMA BRONKHIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN ARUS PUNCAK EKSPIRASI (APE) MELALUI PEMBERIAN LATIHAN PERNAPASAN BUTEYKO DI RS PARU DR. H A ROTINSULU BANDUNG 2022 ABSTRAK VI, 99 hal, 5 Bab, 7 gambar, 17 tabel, 19 lampiran Studi kasus ini didasari oleh kejadian asma di Indonesia per tahun 2017 sekitar 11 juta orang yang menderita penyakit asma. Jumlah pasien asma yang di rawat jalan di RS Paru Dr. H A Rotinsulu Bandung pada bulan April 2022 sebanyak 93 orang. Beberapa teknik pernapasan sebagai pengobatan non farmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk pasien asma ialah teknik pernapasan buteyko dan pranayama. Teknik pernapasan Buteyko dapat menghentikan batuk, hidung tersumbat, sesak napas, wheezing, dan memperbaiki kualitas hidup. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pada klien Asma Bronkhial dalam meningkatkan Arus Puncak Ekspirasi (APE) melalui pemberian latihan pernapasan Buteyko di RS Paru Dr. H A Rotinsulu Bandung tahun 2022. Metode studi kasus yang dipergunakan adalah metode studi kasus deskriptif. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan latihan pernapasan buteyko dilakukan selama 5 hari dapat meningkatkan nilai Arus Puncak Ekspirasi pada kedua klien asma bronkhial dari nilai 200 L/menit dan 205 L/menit menjadi 235 L/menit dan 257 L/menit. Pemberian latihan pernapasan buteyko terbukti dapat meningkatkan nilai Arus Puncak Ekspirasi pada pasien dengan penderita asma bronkhial. Diharapkan responden dapat menerapkan latihan pernapasan buteyko secara mandiri, peneliti selanjutnya dapat memperhatikan kriteria asma pada pasien untuk diberikan latihan pernapasan buteyko dan tenaga kesehatan terutama perawat dapat mengaplikasikan tindakan ini kepada pasien asma bronkhial. The number of asthma patients who are outpatients at the Dr. H A Rotinsulu Lung Hospital Bandung in April 2022 as many as 93 people. Several breathing techniques as non-pharmacological treatment that can be used for asthma patients are buteyko and pranayama breathing techniques. The buteyko breathing technique can stop coughing, nasal congestion, shortness of breath, wheezing, and improve quality of life. This case study aims to describe nursing care for bronchial asthma clients in increasing Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) through the provision of Buteyko breathing exercises at Dr. H A Rotinsulu Lung Hospital Bandung in 2022. The case study method used is a descriptive case study method. The results of the case study showed that the buteyko breathing exercise performed for 5 days could increase the Peak Expiratory Flow in both bronchial asthmatic clients from 200 L/minute and 205 L/minute to 235 L/minute and 257 L/minute. Giving buteyko breathing exercises is proven to increase the value of Peak Expiratory Flow in patients with bronchial asthma. It is hoped that respondents can apply buteyko breathing exercises independently, further researchers can pay attention to the asthma criteria for patients to be given buteyko breathing exercises and health workers, especially nurses, can apply this action to bronchial asthma patients.
