Abstract

ANGKA KECACINGAN PADA PENGRAJIN GERABAH DI DESA ANJUN KECAMATAN PLERED KABUPATEN PURWAKARTA ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ABSTRAK ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ Helminthiasis adalah suatu penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh parasit, Infeksi Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) adalah infeksi yang disebabkan oleh nematoda usus yang dalam penularannya memerlukan media tanah. Cacing ini terdiri dari cacing gelang (Ascaris lumbricoides), cacing cambuk (Trichuris trichiura) dan cacing tambang (Ancylostoma duodenale dan Necator americanus). Pekerjaan yang sangat rentan terkena infeksi STH adalah pekerjaan yang berhubungan langsung dengan tanah, karena telur cacing dapat menginfeksi manusia melalui tanah ke kuku penderita dan termakan saat mengonsumsi makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis telur cacing dan menentukan persentase kecacingan pada pengrajin gerabah di Desa Anjun, Kecamatan Plered Kabupaten Purwakarta. Jenis Penilitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan responden sebanyak 30 orang pengrajin gerabah yang menggunakan metode pemeriksaan teknik pengapungan (flotasi) dengan prinsip perbedaan antara berat jenis telur yang lebih kecil dari berat jenis NaCl sehingga telur mengapung ke permukaan tabung. Pengambilan data hasil wawancara disajikan dalam tabel perorangan yang dinarasikan sedangkan data hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium infeksi kecacingan diolah dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel kemudian dianalisis dengan menghitung persentasenya. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini dari tiga puluh responden yaitu ditemukan 3 telur cacing STH dengan jenis Ascaris lumbricoides sebanyak dua responden (7%) dan telur cacing tambang (Hookworm) sebanyak satu responden (3%). Sehingga persentase angka kecacingan pada pengrajin gerabah di desa Anjun kecamatan Plered Kabupaten Purwakarta adalah 10%. Adapun saran bagi Instansi Kesehatan Pemerintah Kabupaten Purwakarta, diharapkan melakukan kegiatan monitoring secara berkala sekaligus penyuluhan tentang infeksi kecacingan terhadap pengrajin gerabah, dan Bagi pengrajin gerabah, diharapkan dapat menerapkan kebersihan perorangan dengan lebih baik. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ Kata Kunci : Pengrajin Gerabah, Soil Transmitted Helminths, Tanah Liat NUMBER OF WORMS IN POTTERY CRAFTSMEN IN ANJUN VILLAGE, PLERED DISTRICT, PURWAKARTA REGENCY ABSTRACT Helminthiasis is an infectious disease caused by parasites, Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) infection is an infection caused by intestinal nematodes which require soil media for transmission. These worms consist of roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides), whipworms (Trichuris trichiura), and hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus). The jobs that are very susceptible to STH infections are directly related to the soil because worm eggs can infect humans through the ground and will have eaten when eating food. This study aims to determine the type of worm eggs and determine the percentage of worms in pottery artisan in Anjun Village, Plered District, Purwakarta Regency. The kind of research is descriptive with respondents is 30 pottery craftsmen who use the method of examination of the flotation technique with the principle of the difference between the specific gravity of eggs being smaller than the specific gravity of NaCl, therefor the eggs will be float to the surface of the tube. Data collection from interviews is present in individual tables, which describe when data from laboratory examinations of helminth infections are processed and presented in tabular form and then analyzed by calculating the percentage. The results obtained in this study from thirty respondents were found 3 STH worm eggs with the type Ascaris lumbricoides as many as two respondents (7%) and hookworm eggs (Hookworm) as many as one respondents (3%). So the percentage of worms in pottery artisan in Anjun village, Plered sub-district, Purwakarta Regency is 10%. The Suggestions for Purwakarta Regency Government Health Agencies is to carry out periodical monitoring activities such as counseling about the worm, infections to pottery artisan.
